Feb. 7, 2014 - The Federal Home Loan Bank announced today that veterans who are home owners and in need of repairs can get up to twelve thousand five hundred dollars in home repairs through a national program for those who qualify.
The funds are a grant from the agency and do not have to be repaid. If a veteran lives in the home and has an honorable discharge chances are they will be able to receive free home improvements of all kinds, according to Totally Free, Inc. of Brunswick and St. Marys.
