Nov. 16 - ITS Georgia Recognizes Applied Information for Smart Traffic Projects

November 16, 2018 - The Intelligent Transportation Society of Georgia (ITS Georgia) named Applied Information “Outstanding Private Member Organization” at the chapter’s annual Best of ITS awards ceremony.

“To be singled out by one’s peers as an innovator in our rapidly advancing industry is a great honor,” said Bryan Mulligan, Applied Information President. “We are very pleased to receive this distinguished award and challenged by it as well. Challenged to continue innovating to save lives, improve traffic, drive commerce and help the environment.”


In presenting the award, the Chapter cited Applied Information “For their innovation in deploying several ITS projects in Georgia including the (Georgia Department of Transportation) GDOT Smart School Beacons, the (City of Atlanta) North Avenue Smart Corridor, and the Campbellton Road Transit Corridor projects and for their collaboration with the (Atlanta Regional Commission) ARC, (State Road and Tollway Authority) SRTA, and (Georgia Regional Transit Authority) GRTA in support of socializing and advocating ITS technologies with the general public, politicians, and media.”
