Oct. 11 - Abrams to Visit Brunswick and Kingsland Next Week on Early Vote Tour

Brunswick Business Journal Staff Report

October 11, 2018 - Gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams is launching her “We Are Georgia – Our Voices. Our Votes. Our Time” Early Vote Bus Tour next week. Abrams and her campaign will make stops across the state of Georgia during the three weeks of in-person early vote and up until Election Day. Her campaign said that she's visited all 159 Georgia counties, and the early vote bus tour will be another opportunity to meet face-to-face with Georgia voters.

“Voters are energized and ready to elect a governor focused on the issues that matter to them – health care, jobs, and public education,” said Abrams. “In these final days of the campaign, we are starting a new journey across the state to inspire voters to make their voices heard in this election and harness the collective power of our votes. It’s our time.”

The Sarah Riggs Amico campaign for lieutenant governor will hold a concurrent bus tour throughout the state, with the two candidates participating in multiple joint events. In the first three days alone, Abrams will hit 15 stops in 15 counties throughout Georgia.

On Tuesday, October 16th, she'll hold an “Early Vote Rally” from 11:45 AM– 12:30 PM at the Mary Ross Waterfront Park in Brunswick. From there, she'll go to Kingsland for a rally from 1:00 - 1:45 PM at the Kingsland Lion Park at 592 S. Grove Blvd.

The remaining schedule will be released throughout the coming weeks. Registration is not required for community members.
