Sept. 18 - Deal Reappoints Two Board Members to the Jekyll Island State Park Authority

September 18, 2018 - Governor Deal has reappointed Robert W. Krueger and Hugh “Trip” Tollison to the Jekyll Island State Park Authority. Krueger is the owner of Krueger Family Farms. He retired as chairman of the ComSouth Corporation board and as treasurer of the Georgia Telecommunications Association. Krueger earned a bachelor’s degree from Mississippi State University and a master’s degree from the University of Georgia. He is an Eagle Scout and a former officer in the U.S. Navy. Krueger and his wife, Carol, have three children and three grandchildren. They reside in Hawkinsville.
Tollison is the president and CEO of the Savannah Economic Development Authority and the World Trade Center Savannah. He sits on the boards of directors for the Georgia International and Maritime Trade Center Authority, the Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce, the National Museum of the Mighty Eighth Air Force and the United Way of the Coastal Empire. Tollison is a former vice chairman of the Georgia Housing and Finance Authority. He is a former chairman of the Second Harvest Food Bank board of directors and a former trustee for the Leadership Georgia Foundation. Tollison is also a graduate of Leadership Savannah and Leadership Georgia. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia. Tollison and his wife, Tracey, have two children and live in Savannah.
