Dec. 2 - Pinova names Jodie Morgan President and General Manager of Pinova

December 2, 2013 - Ted Butz, President and CEO of Pinova Holdings announced recently the appointment of Jodie Morgan to the newly created position of President and General Manager of Pinova.

This new position will have overall responsibility for the growth and profitability of the Pinova business, as well as be a key member of the Holding Company’s executive team.

Jodie brings extensive experience in leading commercial, technology and new business initiatives to this role. She was most recently President of Solazyme Roquette Nutritionals, LLC where she was responsible for growing a newly established ingredients joint venture based on microalgae technology. From 1998 through 2007, Jodie held various leadership roles at SPI Polyols. As President of SPI, she repositioned an underperforming business and effectively led efforts to increase the company’s global presence.

Additionally, Ken Kennedy was named Senior Vice President – Technology and Development and promoted to Chief Technology Officer at the Holding Company with responsibility for innovation activities at both Pinova and Renessenz. Ken’s career spans thirty-five years in the pine chemicals industry where he has held a variety of technology and commercial positions.
