Dec. 2 – Brunswick Chamber Grits ‘n Issues Breakfast and Bootcamp this week

December 2, 2013 – The Brunswick/Golden Isles Chamber offices was closed Nov. 28-29 for Thanksgiving holidays, but the staff will be back at work Monday, with a busy week ahead.

The Chamber’s annual Grits 'n Issues Breakfast is this week.

Last week, on Tuesday, Nov. 26, they Chamber sponsored a Ribbon Cutting & Grand Opening at Golden Isles Olive Oil, located at 306 Redfern Village on Saint Simons Island.

Constant Contact Email & Social Media Bootcamp

This week, the Chamber is also offering a Constant Contact Email & Social Media Bootcamp Dec. 5 or 6. (Two different sessions.)  Each will run from 9 am - 4 pm at the Brunswick-Golden Isles Chamber of Commerce Conference Room.   Cost is $219 Members / $249 Non-Members ($400 Value).  The Bootcamp includes lunch and workbook.  Prep work will be sent out prior to class.

This full-day, hands on boot camp will provide a comprehensive overview of how to use email marketing on Constant Contact platform and Facebook to create and send professional-looking campaigns. Experts Lanelle Henderson and Jenn Agnew will demonstrate easy design tips while attendees follow along in their own accounts.

Attendees will also learn the latest best practices and proven strategies, and will have plenty of time to ask questions and leave with knowledge they can put to work immediately for business success, according to the Chamber.

Attendees must bring a wi-fi enabled laptop. No tablets or ipads.
