Sept. 8 - Hurricane Preparedness is Topic of Business Education Series on Sept. 11

September 8, 2018 - All eyes are on Florence as its predicted to become a major hurricane threatening the East Coast. Businesses can learn how to be prepared in the The Brunswick-Golden Isles Chamber of Commerce’s next Business Education Series on September 11 at 8:30 to 9:30 am at the Chamber’s offices on 1505 Richmond Street, Second Floor, Brunswick. Jay Wiggins, Director Glynn County EMA & Homeland Security will run the morning workshop giving a brief background of storms, how and why they form. He’ll also provide general preparedness tips for individuals and businesses, continuity of operations for business, discuss the new State of Georgia re-entry program and what it takes to qualify for early re-entry.
